Where do you sell your art?
Some pieces are on Saatchi, but you can also come to see my work.
Where?
I have a studio in San Francisco. Open Studios are the last weekend in April.
But wait, why did you start painting?
My partner Silvia Poloto encouraged me after we collaborated on some pieces which sold.
And then you just started on your own work?
Sort of. I was a photographer for a time and I got some recognition for my book, Cafe Haiku. And I studied art history at NYU. I’ve been going to galleries from age 19 in NYC.
Do you like landscapes?
I actually have a collection of landscapes, but I consider what I do more about color that about actual landscapes.
But they look like landscapes.
Representational art represents something but my “landscapes” don’t represent actual physical places.
